Vertebral Distraction Pump (VDP)

The Vertebral Distraction Pump is a tool used for manual traction as a form of non-surgical spinal decompression and is often used to help treat:

  • Disc Degeneration
  • Facet Syndrome
  • Myofascitis
  • Disc Compression

How It Works

The Vertebral Distraction Pump is a handheld device used for spinal decompression. The instrument is placed over the vertebra where there is a herniated or bulging disc. As the instrument is squeezed, the adjacent vertebra is pushed apart creating a 2-millimeter separation. This allows the herniated disc to retract back to its normal position.
